With a strong foundation in data science and a passion for extracting valuable insights from complex datasets, ​I am Aditya Sanjay Mhaske, having completed a Master of Science in Data Science at Indiana University. Throughout my academic journey, I have gained hands-on experience, exemplified by my role as a Data Science Intern at Twin Cities Innovation Alliance, where I applied SQL and statistical modeling to enhance website performance through A/B testing.

During my tenure at the Kelley School of Business, I utilized LLM and NLP techniques to achieve an impressive 91% testing accuracy in topic classification. My versatile skill set includes proficiency in languages such as Python, R, SQL, as well as expertise in AWS, Azure, Git, and more, making me a well-rounded data professional poised to tackle complex challenges

Data Scientist Intern

I designed A/B tests using SQL and statistical modeling to evaluate website optimization. ​These tests involved employing SQL and statistical modeling to analyze data and assess the impact of changes made during a website optimization project.

I worked on enhancing the client's recommendation engine. This involved utilizing a combination of collaborative filtering, content-based filtering, and deep learning models. By leveraging user preference and behavior data, we were able to achieve a remarkable 20% increase in user engagement.

I deployed machine learning models for skin lesion classification using Tensorflow and CNN for Virtusa Technologies, USA. I also leveraged AWS EC2 for hosting the web application, and Amazon RDS for database management. I implemented the ETL to gather images, ensuring data integrity and optimizing data storage for efficient retrieval and analysis.

Machine Learning Intern

I conducted research on developing incremental and decremental versions of the DBSCAN and MBSCAN algorithms to analyze distance-based outlier mining. I used Python and C++ to improve the computational speed by 30% and precision by 20% in clustering algorithms. The algorithm was tested in a fintech application with over 1 million users, for customer segmentation and portfolio optimization.

Undergraduate Researcher

MIT World Peace University
I conducted machine learning research to investigate the correlation between BMI and cardiovascular disease. I identified BMI as a key feature and achieved 71% accuracy, which outperformed the previous best performance by a neural network model by 10.9%.

I also utilized YOLOv4 to design an object and obstacle detection model, creating an RCOIS and securing an Indian patent. Additionally, I engineered smart glasses with AR technology, implementing depth perception through an object detection algorithm (YOLOv3) to assist individuals with monocular vision, and filed an Indian patent.
